TWO SOLO MINERS WON BITCOIN BLOCKS A DAY APART — CKPOOL KEPT EXACTLY 2% — ONE REWARD LANDED ON AN ADDRESS WITH FOUR EARLIER PAYMENTS
Two blocks in two days went to solo miners. Block 973,262, mined at 17:06 UTC on October 26, 2026, carries the coinbase tag “FutureBit-Solo Apollo Run by Wilson” and pays 3.15418892 BTC to one address. Block 973,413, mined at 15:11 UTC on October 27, came through solo.ckpool.org. Anyone can check both. The coinbase is the first transaction in each block, and mempool.space and blockstream.info return the same block hashes.
The pool cut is on chain too. Block 973,413 paid out 3.13968422 BTC. Of that, 3.07689054 went to the miner and 0.06279368 went to a second address: exactly 2% of the total. Block 973,262 has one payout and no split. Mempool.space counts four FutureBit Apollo Solo blocks ever. The last one before this was block 888,737 on March 21, 2025.
Then the part the coverage skipped. On solo.ckpool.org, your username is your payout address, and the pool's public stats page for this one showed two workers on October 27, about 16.4 TH/s over seven days, and a start date of October 25, 2025. At about 1,086 EH/s for the whole network, that is roughly a 1 in 66 million shot per block, or about one block every 1,259 years on average. The same address had already received four other payments, from June 2025 to August 2026, totaling 0.36452207 BTC. None has been spent. The reward is now linked to that history for anyone who looks.
That is the trade in solo mining. You need no one’s permission to win new coins, and nothing about the win is hidden. Win with a reused address, and your history is public too. At the time of this writing, bitcoin was $80,606.
