A DOLLAR TOKEN ON A FUND TOKEN ON T-BILLS — MOONPAY PLANS TO PARK STABLECOIN RESERVES IN WISDOMTREE’S $1.23 BILLION WTGXX — NO COIN NAMED, NO AMOUNT, AND THE FINE PRINT SAYS “YOU COULD LOSE MONEY”

Here is the chain, link by link. A MoonPay dollar token would sit, in part, on top of WTGXX shares. WTGXX is a WisdomTree money market fund that lives as a token on eight networks, and as of June 30, 2026 it held 63.96% Treasury bills, 16.76% Treasury floating-rate notes and 19.28% overnight repo with Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Canada. So: a dollar token, backed by a fund token, backed by T-bills. What you can check: that holdings table, and the token count on RWA.xyz, $1.23 billion on September 17 with 98.7% of it on Ethereum. What you have to trust: the release, which says MoonPay “plans to use WTGXX as part of its stablecoin reserve management” and names no coin, no amount and no start date. Who profits is not a mystery. WisdomTree keeps the fund’s 0.25% expense ratio, a quarter of a point a year on every dollar parked. A fund pays its income to whoever holds the shares; the seven-day yield was 3.45% as of June 30, and the shareholder here would be MoonPay, not the person holding MoonPay’s dollar token. The Treasury gets one more bill buyer. And the release’s fine print says “You could lose money by investing in WTGXX.” Every money fund carries that line. Every dollar token built on one inherits it. At the time of this writing, bitcoin was $76,540.
