STRATEGY SITS ON $4B CASH INTO MONDAY 8-K — THE AMMO IS LOADED, THE QUESTION IS WHERE IT POINTS

"Cash pile ammo is real; direction remains Monday's tell." — the Capitalist read on the setup.
The Capitalist read. Strategy enters Monday's 8-K window with roughly $4B in USD reserve on the balance sheet — enough to cover approximately 2.3 years of the $1.76B annual preferred dividend obligation on the STRC / STRK / STRD / STRF stack. The reserve is the fortress; the 8-K is where the fortress speaks.
THE COVERAGE MATH $4B USD reserve / $1.76B annual preferred dividend obligation = ~27 months of covered dividends without touching a single sat. Strategy has never held a reserve this deep against dividend cover. The fortress posture is the loudest cap-structure signal since the STRC was launched.
The last two Sunday-into-Monday sequences have split. July 20: the 8-K reported a $263.5M ATM raise, zero BTC bought, reserve refill posture, holdings unchanged at 843,775. August 3: the 8-K reported 1,638 BTC sold at $63,957 average price to cover the dividend stack, with the Saylor and Phong messaging steering carefully around the sale. Two different resolutions to the same setup phrase. Today's "Doing Business" tease sits in the same pattern box; Monday resolves which branch fires this week.
THE PATTERN LADDER Jul 20: tease → refill, zero BTC bought. Jul 27: tease → $525M cash raise, zero BTC bought. Aug 3: tease → 1,638 BTC sold. Aug 9 (today): tease → Monday resolves. The recent ratio is two refills to one sale. Base rate favors refill; the tape has to tell us.
Three plausible reads on the Monday morning tape. First, a BTC buy that resets the accumulation narrative after two consecutive weeks without a purchase. Second, more BTC sold to cover the ongoing preferred obligation, with the tease as pre-sale conditioning. Third, a cap-structure raise through the STRC / STRK / STRD ATM without a spot BTC transaction. Options desk positioning into the week suggests operators are pricing higher probability on read one, but two of the last three teases resolved to the sell branch.
$4B in the reserve.
843,775 BTC on the balance sheet.
The 8-K opens Monday. The direction is the tell.
