MARA MOVED A FIFTH 500-BITCOIN LOT AT 14:39 UTC — AFTER THE STORIES RAN — THE COINS TRACE TO BLOCKS TAGGED “MARA MADE IN USA” — NO SALE CONFIRMED

At 14:39 UTC on October 19, 2026, in block 972,170, a wallet that Lookonchain ties to MARA Holdings sent 500 bitcoin to the same address it has paid all year. It was the fifth 500 bitcoin lot since September 22. It moved hours after BeInCrypto, Cryptonews and Bitcoin.com ran stories on the first four.

You do not have to take the tracker's word for who owns it. The 500 came out of a 167 input transaction at 14:28 UTC. 163 of those inputs, 494.55 bitcoin, sat at one address that is paid straight from block rewards. We checked 12 of the 163. All 12 were block rewards tagged "MARA Made in USA," mined between block 931,301 and block 971,857. mempool.space names the pool MARA Pool. Two block explorers show the same thing.

What the chain does not show is a sale. Every lot lands first at one address, bc1qyv8c, which has 2,850 transactions, and splits from there. Lookonchain says the coins reached Binance and Gate. Bitcoin.com puts 100 of them at Coinbase. That split is not settled. MARA has said nothing about the transfers. Its second quarter filing counted 35,577 bitcoin, with 9,270 lent out or pledged.

So here is the part anyone can check: these are coins MARA mined itself, months of them, moving for the first time. Whether they were sold, lent or posted as collateral waits on the third quarter report. At the time of this writing, bitcoin was $82,191.
