A 2013 WALLET NAMED IN THE NOAH DOE SUIT MOVED 411.45 BITCOIN — THE 546-SATOSHI COURT-ORDERED NOTICE STILL SITS IN IT, UNSPENT — THE OWNER HAD THE KEY

On October 18, 2026, in block 972,036, a bitcoin address first funded on September 11, 2013 sent 411.45 bitcoin. It was the first time the address had ever spent. Galaxy Research, as reported by Decrypt on October 19, tags it "Noah Doe #970," one of 39,069 addresses named in a New York lawsuit that asks a court to declare their coins abandoned.

The chain backs that tag up. Among the small outputs still sitting at the address is one worth 546 satoshis, sent on May 22, 2026 in block 950,449. It carries a message: "COURT-ORDERED LEGAL NOTICE: https://www.ilawconotices.com/153119-2026". The case is Index No. 153119/2026 in New York County Supreme Court. Two more outputs of 548 satoshis, from July 2025, read "NOTICE TO OWNER" and point to salomonbros.com. The owner moved the 411.45 bitcoin and left all three notices where they landed.

The suit was filed March 11, 2026 by a plaintiff using the name Noah Doe and two Wyoming companies. It leans on New York's lost property law. The plaintiffs hold none of the keys. Their theory is that a quiet address means a missing owner. This owner was not missing. The key still signed.

That is the first principle the case keeps running into. Owning bitcoin is not a line in a registry that a judge can amend. It is the power to sign. A court can say who should own an address. It cannot sign for one. A judge paused the case in June, press reports say, and we could not confirm from the docket where it stands now. At the time of this writing, bitcoin was $81,814.
