CZ SAYS BITCOIN CAN PASS GOLD NEXT CYCLE — THE GAP IS TEN-TO-ONE AND BUILT ON DECADES OF STATE PLUMBING — “A SHIFT TO BITCOIN WILL NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT”

Speaking at Bitcoin Asia in Hong Kong, Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao said the next bull cycle could push Bitcoin past gold — and then gave the caveat that matters more than the call. Gold’s market value still runs about ten times Bitcoin’s, and the gap is not just price. It is plumbing. “Major countries have built complete valuation, reserve, and trading systems around gold, so a shift to bitcoin will not happen overnight,” Zhao said. That is the honest version of the thesis: states hold what their systems were built to hold, and systems change slower than markets. The Fundamentalist read: every monetary changeover in history looked impossible right up until the plumbing quietly got rebuilt — gold certificates gave way to Treasuries, and Treasuries are giving way to whatever survives the debt math. The reserve bill to watch in Washington is ARMA, the one that would give the hardest money a legal seat in America’s reserves; the flip CZ is calling runs through paperwork like that, not through a price chart. A ten-to-one gap sounds like a wall. Across a cycle or two it is a doorway, and the patient capital is already standing in it. The cap is still twenty-one million.
