BITCOIN ETFS TOP $100 BILLION — NINE STRAIGHT DAYS OF BUYING — BLACKROCK PULLS IN $277 MILLION WHILE FIDELITY SELLS THE SAME DAY
One hundred billion dollars is now sitting inside Bitcoin ETFs, after nine straight days of money flowing in. $242 million came in today alone. But look past the round number and the real story is inside the flows: BlackRock's fund pulled in $277 million by itself — more than the whole group gained, net — while Fidelity's fund lost $84 million and Grayscale's lost another $27 million. That's not simple buying. That's big money picking a winner inside a group of winners, the same thing that happens in every new fund race once the early rush settles down and cost and ease of trading start deciding where the money goes. Most of that hundred billion sits in a fund that never touches the actual coin, never moves it, and answers to a board of directors instead of a private key. The milestone is real, and it's good news for anyone who wants Bitcoin taken seriously on Wall Street. But the coin itself doesn't know or care which fund manager wins this week. It sits at the same address, doing the same math, no matter whose name is on the account statement.
